Welcome to the Saint Georges Writers’ Residency! It is our mission to bring creative energy back to this square of Normandy countryside, which was once a haven for writers, painters, musicians, sculptors, and filmmakers. We hope this residency will provide writers with a quiet place of contemplation and inspiration, an escape from their daily lives, and the opportunity to work alongside other talented writers and teachers within a vigorous workshop context. We hope the seeds of future work, friendships, and collaborations can be sowed here as well in a landscape of forest, field, and waters.

Food prepared by a local French chef with vegetables from the garden and wine sourced from reputed sommelier Bruno Quenioux.
